The Stone Circle
A towering circle of smooth pillar-like stones; a flat bolder set in its midst. The boulder once represented a speaking platform for the pack leaders, but now sets as a broken crag where a dead pup had been lain. This place holds reminiscent memories of tranquil feelings and the togetherness of the Heartlands pack, but all it condones these days is a sense of impeding doom during the daytime with an eerie regime of silence, and the loudest whispers of the troubled spirits that surround it during night.

Midnight Glade
Once the epitome of peace and beauty in the Heartlands, Midnight Glade is the area surrounding The Stone Circle. It sparkled all year round, and was greatly revered as a place for one to relax and spend his days lost in quiet serenity. Though this changed one day; blood began to mysteriously appear on the trees of the Glade, day by day, one by one until the death of the puppy. The blood stains still remain, dull and ominous during the day, though glistening and fresh-looking at night. The unnerving whispers of spirits can be heard all day long, though are vague compared to the nightly voices heard in The Stone Circle.

Obsidian River
Called such due to the smooth and shiny black rocks scattering the riverbed, the Obsidian River was once the primary source of water for all creatures of the Heartlands, winding through the lands as a majestic snake of life. Though now, the level of the fresh water source drops about an inch or more every month or so, despite the weather, and is predicted to be completely dry within the next year or so. Wolves should caution in drinking this water, seeing as the reason is currently unknown to the water's shrinkage.

Lucent Woods
Trees as far as the eyes can see, clustered as a forest but individually settled, as if there is a silent, earthy fear of touching one another. Masses of abundant vegetation and herbs are scattered throughout the area, though are surprisingly difficult to find—and this is mainly due to the thick and eerie fog that now rolls mysteriously through the forest, shifting all day and all night but never lessening either way. This mist has only appeared in lieu of the recent events in the Heartlands, and it only resides within this forest, not an inch of cloud setting beyond the treeline.

North Region
Known for its elegantly crafted caves, the North could be considered once of the most extensive regions in Province with so many unknown places to explore. With its numerous slopes and generally uneven surface, this region can, in times of harsh weather, prove to be dangerous. Despite this, however, the mountains are considered to offer some of the most breathtaking views of the land as the heights offer an advantage to any brave enough to climb them. With its remote location, beautiful views, and large size, the North Region is an ideal location.

East Region
Great and valiant trees of evergreen stand tall and vast against its surroundings. Turning from plains to forest, the East Region remains one of the most ancient, and unchanged scenes of Province. Rain, snow and sunlight hardly enter the thick canopy of the trees, maintaining an earthy, cool and shadowy aura all year long. In addition to an abundance of vegetation, small pools and streams randomly litter the area. The scattered trees often prove to be excellent shields, and thus give residents much protection. Though it is the botanicals of these lands, it also has the least complex system of living.

South Region
For miles and miles stretch the steaming white sands of Province Beach, bordering the cold and normally calm Pacific Ocean. Multiple coves and freshwater pools, deposited by the large stream snaking through the Region, provide excellent shelter and enjoyment upon the beach. Small groups of Palm trees dot here and there along the coast, making it no rarity to spot a coconut or two lying about. A small forest is set in the backdrop of the beach, also littering a sheer rock-face cliff that borders the eastern area of the Southern Region. This cliff provides an excellent view of the ocean from all sides and the height also provides shelter during storms, in which the water rises—but falling off of it almost ensures death on the jutting, ocean rocks below.

West Region
A dreamscape of a seemingly endless amount of rolling hills, dotted with scraggly trees and scathed by a plethora of bushes and wind-blown debris. Vast fields sit in between some of the hills, and depending on the time of year are either sprinkled with thousands of wildflowers or pallid with snow. A large pool of water, settled near the mountains of the North and almost lake-like in appearance, is the sole source of the Western Region's water, supplied by a tumbling stream that flows monotonously down from somewhere hidden in the North. It is very easy to get lost in this Region, for if you travel deep enough into the territory, things begin to look very similar to one another; and some hills are not high enough to be able to see the mountains in the distance, which can be your last sense of direction, should you get lost.
